hey guys,
first off - youre awesome, you always help me out so thanks

heres the deal:
when im driving and pull into a parking space, i hear this slight chirping underneath my car when im stopped for about a minute. it is only when im in Drive with the brakes on and completely stopped for about 30 secs - 1 minute.
i put the e-brake on while in Drive and got underneath the 2003 corolla le to confirm the noise and it was there. when the fan comes on, the chirping goes away temporarily, but then builds again until the fan comes on again. its pretty constant.
i put the car in park (from drive) and there is no chirping noise. its completely gone.
toyota said it was probably my back brakes since they are at 3 millimeters. i just had my front brakes replaced about 4 months again - new pads, resurfaced rotors, new calipers, etc. so i know its not the front brakes.
what could it be? do you think toyota is right about it being the back brakes chirping while being in drive with the brakes on and stopped? or does anything else jump out at you as being the totally obvious problem?
you guys are the best, so i wanted to check in with you here first before i take it in monday morning. any advice is appreciated
thanks,
smitt
