I'm trying to remove the plastic rivets that hold the hood and trunk liners in position.
Pulling with fingernails gets it out a good 1/2 inch but it stops. Do I just keep yanking
or am I supposed to rotate it or something special?

keep pulling, once you see how just one of them is held in, the rest should be easy to figure out.

you will probably break about 3 of them lol...well I did anyways, pull pull pull SNAP :-).

The hood liner is fiberglass btw....so watch for the itchies

They do sell liner rivet pullers but you'll probably break some anyway, take one to autozone and match it up, beats paying $$$ at a Toyota dealer, if you ever take your black engine shroud cover off, those two plastic rivets in the back turn out!
