A Question about headlight on my 2004 LE

I have two questions.
1. Does anyone have aftermarket projector headlights like these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem=
installed on their car? If so, how do they work?

2. Is there any way to disable the day running light feature? I've been using Sylvania Silverstar bulbs and they seems to be burning out on me every six months or so. It seems like a complete waste to have them on during the day. If safety is the issue, I would rather they be wired to the parking lights like Chevrolet. Any suggestions?
