RPM issue at different speeds

Hi,

I have a corolla 04 LE. I have the following observations regarding RPMs

2400@55

2500@61

2600@66

Do they look OK/normal? How does that relate to engine wear? Thanks.

Looks like you have an automatic. My RPMs aren't quite that high. On the 5-speed, it's exactly 25 MPH / 1000 RPM in 5th gear. So:

2000 @ 50 MPH
2200 @ 55 MPH
2400 @ 60 MPH
2600 @ 65 MPH
2800 @ 70 MPH
3000 @ 75 MPH

Engine wear is fine. You can drive it at 3000 or 3500 RPM all day long. It's a little 4-cylinder; they like to rev.
