05 Fitment issues?

On alot of aftermarket parts websites I have been noticing "03-04" and "06-07".
Also sites that say "03 and up" (and) give a part number, I check it on other sites and it tells me different.
I know that the 03-04 had different grilles than the 05-06 Corollas.

So what all changed from the 03-04 Corollas to the 05?
And what parts will fit from the previous two years or future two years (i.e. intakes, exhausts, coil over kits, etc.)?

I already asked a similar question, basically its all the same the people listing them don't know much about our cars.

For example I bought a strut bar....before I asked the seller "Will it fit an 08?" It was listed as 03-07 or something. He said "No" I bought it anyways and it fit fine.

Just go with your gut unless its a body part or anything that may be affected by Wire driven cars, or Non wire driven cars, as I learned the 03-04 SOME 05 were all wire driven....thats what I THINK, someone else back me up :-p

Thanks.
I wasn't sure if they changed up suspension or engine design for the different years.

Some intakes that are meant for the 03-04 will work on the 05+ with some modification and extra parts

Well I will probably go with a short ram air intake so it won't need modification.

And I just got my lowering springs (megan racing) but I haven't put them on yet
