05 brake problems.help!

So I have a 2005 corolla with about 45000 on it. I have had the car for about a year and a half though. When i got it the brakes were squeaking a little but so i took it to the mechanic and they changed the pads. For a little bit the squeaking stopped, and then it started again. And it got really loud and weird noises would come from the wheels. So then i took it in and got the rotars changed. So everything is new but the brakes are still squeeking really loud and its unbearable.

Does anyone have any suggestions with what I can do?

Thanks

Unlikely at 45000 miles but it could be a bad bearing. They can make fantastic noises :-)

...........

there is a possibility your hand brake could be rubbing it happened to my 05 corolla it was making a loud squeaking noise going around corners and on the straight driving me mad it was for ages..had it to the garage three times they didnt know what it was..they check the brakes moved the pads around and nothing still the same..so i figured out what it was myself in the end it was the hand brake was to tight it should be between 6 to 9 clicks mine was on 5 clicks... i put mine at 7 and the squeaking stop worth a try.......................

I would try a premium brake pad, perhaps a ceramic. I have used cheapie pads in the past and they squeaked.

well the semi metalic breakpads used on the corolla will squek, my brakes arent that bad though. for the last 20k mils my car sometimes squeaks coming up to lights but thats about it.

is it from the front or rear brakes?

Might just be a build up of brake dust - get a can of spray brake cleaner and spray the calipers til clean. Assume they lubed the pins so pads slide freely and used anti squeal stuff (often orange or blue) on the backs of the new pads.
