"clicking" noise when moving from standstill.

'07 Sport / Manual about 15K
I get this distinct "clicking" or "ping" (two metals hitting) sound ONLY when driving away from a dead stop. But it happens when i first get into the car and turn the ignition and I drive away. I dont get this noise at any other time during the time that I would take to get from point A to point B.During a drive I can do anything , accel, quick stops , or wait for stop light after stop light.

to me it sounds like your engline is low on oil, and the noise from intake valve is hitting by the Cam. I might be wrong, but be safe just check the motor oil.

Thanx guys.
But I did read something about bad calipers for this generation. Because the sound happens as soon as i pullaway i.e., getting into 1st gear and slowly letting the wheels turns.

I have the same thing happen on my 2008 corolla. Does it several times throughout the day when starting from a standstill, sometimes when turning. Not sure what it is either
