You're going to have to give us some more detail. Is the engine running at idle, in park? What is the RPM? If you press on the gas pedal, does the engine speed increase? After you put it in gear, and the car "jumps", what next? Does the engine die or keep running? Can you drive the car at all?

How many miles and do you have any access to a code reader? Is this the first time it happened? Anything happen to the car or any work done to it? I hope it is not a bad ECU.

Aren't some of the 05s cable driven? Could the linkage be broken?

Yeah, Acosta, does your throttle body have a cable on it, or is there no cable? Try this:

With the engine off, but the key on, open the hood in a closed area (like a garage) and slowly press the throttle and let go. You should be hearing the throttle butterfly open and close (if it's an electronic throttle). You can hear the little motor opening and closing the throttle blade. If you're not hearing that, there may be a malfunction with the throttle body, the wiring, or with the ECU.
