You might google for instructions on how to read the date code. Some tires actually sit so long they shouldn't be used. But yes, IMHO, some tires seem to have problems with bad belts.(Different brands, models, at different times) Don't know how to tell. Perhaps by checking uniformity while spinning at a high speed. Not very practical for an owner/user. I'd take them in and have them checked. I once had a set of Continentals which drove me nuts. About the 4th time in (with just over 10K miles), one of the guys told me they were having problems with belt seperation on that particular tire and they changed them out for another brand. (This was after I blasted one guy for telling me not to drive so fast.)

No more vibration. Heard of this with other people and brands/models of tires.
