eh. i dont think it would cause low idle.. i guess it depends on how much is leaking...
how much fluid is needed to keep the system topped off?
the idle is controlled by the info the coolant temp sensor gives to the computer. if the coolant is warm enough the idle drops, if the coolant is cold, the idle is a little higher.. hence the higher idle for longer in the winter...
but if theres a bad leak... that might be able to throw of the sensor.... i dont know how but i would guess its not unreasonable that something tat little could do that.
