strange electric humming noise coming from engine bay.

there is a strange electric humming noise coming from engine bay when i open the hood it doesn't sound like it coming from the engine more like the back to the right side of the engine bay its a constant hummmmmmmmmmmm noise fairly noticeable anyone know what that could be

is the ac on.. AC radiator fan...?
fuel pump? the hum-o-matic?

is there a reason youre concerned about this humming noise...?

year model and miles would probably help the question..

there's no A/C on my car its just the car is low idling the past while and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with it the humming noise.and the low idle started around the same time as the humming did a few months back its a 04 saloon corolla terra 1.4 just gone 40000 miles Irish car..........
