What is the best way to add an IPOD?

Hi, my friend has a 2007 Corolla.. not sure about the trim..

but she has a SINGLE CD player, not that 6-disc..

what is a good way to hook up an IPOD to this system?
i don't think this CD player has an AUX jack..

do help....

maybe the cheapest way would be to add a $500 NAV system?? like the pioneer D3 or so...

Only thing i would do is replace it with a aftermarket mp3 player since they only go 100~ bucks or so and just about all of them have a jack you can plug into via aux. The cord you would need you could pick up for a about 10 bucks or so from you local walmart, radioshack or what have you. As well as, the wiring harness and dash adapter kit.

I already had a radio that i took out of my old car before i got my corolla, but the new radio might be a stretch for pricing and such but if anything you will be able to beef up your system with a radio that you can fine tune.

yea.. that's what i am leaning towards...
but i don't want to do a $500 job when all the person wants to do in life is play her ipod.. hehe.

maybe i'll get a DICE kit or something...

honestly FM transmitters arent that bad... at all
theyre better than the cassettes.. if you want to make it look all shnazzy you could just wire an ipod transmitter somewhere in the dash and just have the dock connecter pop out somehwere on the dash.. and have all the wiring hidden somewhere. all you would need is a power hookup.

thats probably liek 50 dollars plus some time...

otherwise youre gunna have to change the head unit.. which isnt that bad to do yourself either.. anyone can do it. it just takes a bit of time to do the research. go to a few stores and ask around.

i would personalyl just stick with a transmitter... you can put em away when you dont want peopel to see that you potentially have an ipod inside the car, and not as flashy as a headunit.

good luck
