Noise

I purchased a 2005 Corolla about a year ago it is a great car. I had an issue with a noise a kind of rumble that I think is coming from the rear I took the car to a tire dealer and they though that the tires were feathered and that what was causing the noise. I replaced the tires and the noise is still there, not as bad but still there. It shows up at 50+ mph and get worse at cursing speed 70+ as the speed goes up so does the noise. I'm starting to think the noise insulation is not as good as my old car any thoughts?
As always thanks for any information or advice

It could be a bad hub bearing. Hub bearings usually sound like an annoying hum. I also had an 05 and my hub bearing went bad.

The first thing you need to do is check if the hub has any play. You can do this by jacking up that tire and trying to move it up and down and side to side. Also try spining the tire to see if you can duplicate the noise. If it all seems good and tight you may be running into the same problem that I ran into. My car passed all those test with flying colors but, it was bad so I changed it. It is very easy to change and the noise was gone.
