2003 corolla P0442

Code's P0440 and P0442 have come up on my code reader and I'm not sure what I need to do to fix this problem.
The code says evaporative emission control system leak detected (small leak).

Check your gas gap for tightness and seal.

take off the gas cap and see if the top of the filler neck is rusted you will probably have to get a new filler neck and a gas cap im almost positive there is a tsb for that problem

I agree, I have heard of other people having this issue.

thanks for the tip I have cleared the code and it hasn't come back on.

It may come back on in 2 weeks or so if the problem was not corrected.
