06 blower motor replacement
My daughter has a 2006 Corolla which has a blower motor which intermittently does not spin. She had the resister block changed which did not help. I removed the glove compartment and the cabin filter. Switching the fan from off to on several times caused it not to start up. If I put my and in the filter slot and moved the blades, I could feel it wanting to start at some points but not at others. Reminded me of a motor with bad brushes. I think it is definitely the motor but I don't know how difficult it is to replace. I read somewhere that you get at it from underneath and just have to take off 3 or 4 screws. Can anyone offer any info?
My daughter is about 90 miles from me, so I don't have immediate access to the car. I checked my library but they do not have any of the auto repair manuals.
