you can put any kind of muffler on your car, all it takes is the right amount of work/money

03 exhaust + headers

what would you recommend as a good bolt on cat back exhaust or axle back muffler, seeing that the trd is discountinued. i don't want to go custom. i also want to match the exhaust with a decent set of headers.

Your only choice AFAIK is going custom.

Apexi, Greddy and HKS all make universal mufflers in different sizes.

Any good exhaust shop should be able to get crush or mandrel bent piping to fit perfectly.

I have a Greddy SP2 for the XRS on my XRS. Granted it could be fit to 1ZZ Corollas as well, actually the 1ZZ Corollas 2003 - 2004 have a different exhaust bolting than the 2005+. So if you have a 2003, 2004 1ZZ Corolla, you might have to customize it a bit to fit your car.
