My question would be whether it would fit in the dash opening, which I doubt very much.

Check out my install into a 2003 Tacoma. I think I covered most of what would be required to install a scion radio into most toyotas.

What year is your Corolla?
Take out your stock radio and get the measurements too.

This is possible. However light modification will need to be done. Nothing crazy. Small gaps on both sides but barely noticeable.

May i ask the purpose of such a mod? I think our 6disc stock JBL radios are better the scion headunits (respectively). Altho some people seem to do this swap simply for the mp3 feature ipod input most scion units have. Once again this is a fairly easy 'swap' mod but if your not great with electronics just bring it to a shop and they will know what to do.
