Please help identify this STB

I was recently given a strut tower brace but it does not fit my 03 Matrix XRS (it came off my friend's 05 Corolla XRS). Does anyone know what brand this is? The badge on it says TRD Racing Development but I am unsure if it is a genuine TRD part. Also, will it fit other 9th generation Corolla models or only the XRS? Thanks!

that does not look like a genuine TRD strut tower bar. and yes, it should fit any other 9th gen corolla. no idea what brand it is though.

Whoever made it, it's a good piece. It seems to be triangulated to bolt onto the firewall somewhere. This would make it an extra-stiff bar.Almost looks like a bar I saw from another forum (J-Body.org)

This one pictured was made by OEM (overkill engineering motorsports). The construction is very similar.

I agree, it does seem to be very well made. It really is a shame that it doesn't fit my Matrix. Oh well. Time to go sell it...

So a guy just came by with an 07 Corolla SE and the STB did not fit. Do all 03-08 Corollas have the same strut tower configuration or are the XRS models different?

Oh yeah, the brake fluid reservoir was also in the way. Does anyone know if the 05 XRS is unique among the 03-08 model years?
