adjusting power steerin

Is there a way to adjust how much assist your power steering gives on an '07 Corolla? I know this seems like a weird question but I drive a lot and its just always feeling stiff to drive after a while. Even the minor movements at higher speeds get to my elbow. Its been the same since I bought the car new in 07. I have the fluid changed as per the manual. IDK, just making more like my other work car, a 04 GMC Yukon (I know its crap) but you can turn it with a single finger. I appreciate the help.

No there is no way to adjust. Is the seating position comfortable, how far do you sit from the wheel?

The seating position was the first thing I tried adjusting, that and the wheel height. I'm comfortable but it just seems to kill my elbow not matter what. If it is what it is, then it is what it is. I have 75k on the car in the year and a half I've owned it, so its not like I'll have the car for years to come. I'll just pop some Tylenol and deal with it I guess.

I think the Corolla is pretty light to drive (in terms of steering effort). I came from a Cadillac, so I know what light effort feels like! At least it's light compared to other small cars. It's about as "relaxed" of a drive as it gets in the small car market.
