You'll need to do what you think looks good.
I'll give you my opinion, but it's probably not what you want to hear, because I think body kits and tuner wheels and slammed suspensions look silly. I prefer to focus my money and energy on performance upgrades (but not always "go fast" parts).
For example, I changed out the stock steel wheels for a set of alloy wheels from a Prius. They're the same size as the stock wheels, but they're 6 pounds lighter each. That's a big weight savings, and has improved handling, ride, and economy. They do look a whole lot better than the hubcaps, but it was their performance benefits I was really after.
