Right headlight not working
Hey all, I need some help with my right headlight. I drive a 2005 Corolla CE.
Half a year ago I installed HIDs and the ballast on the right side wasn't that good to start with. If I release the handbrake and let the DRL power the headlights they start blinking due to lack of voltage. So if I turn on the headlights manually when they're ALREADY blinking, the left HID bulb will turn on properly, but the right one will complete shut off. Basically I'd have to turn the switch and turn on the headlights before releasing my handbrake.
Anyway, what the actual problem I'm having is, after getting my car back from Toyota after an oil change, the right headlight doesn't work at all. At first I thought that maybe the right side's ballast stopped working since it was kinda crappy to start with. So I put in my original bulb back and it still doesn't light up. I tried my other original bulb (left and right) and it still didn't work. So I used a voltmeter and checked both sides' low-beams' electric lines, and the right side has no reading. All the signal lights and high-beams still work.
Does anyone have any idea what's wrong and what I can do? Is it possible that the fuse blew due to the bad ballast? Does anyone have a 2005 Corolla's fuse chart?
Thanks in advance.
