Canada Door Seal

I've got a 2004 Corolla that appears to have the door seal shrinking away from
the spline on the body. Pressing it back on in one place makes it pop out on another, as if it's not long enough to run completely around the opening. Does
anyone else have this problem?

Yes. Have the same problem on both rear openings on my 2005. There is a TSB to add more clips which I asked the dealer to fix under warranty. He stated he did (about 2 yrs ago), however, it still has the problem on both sides. Not sure if they really performed TSB or lied. I've owned nothing but Toyotas for 12 straight years, and have definitely noticed the build quality deteriorate as the brand has gained popularity and more units produced. I'd still take Toyota over any other brand!

Please let me know where you discovered the TSB. I'd like to go to my dealer
and stick it under his nose so he can fix it. I have an extended warranty, but
I don't see if trim parts are covered. With a TSB in hand, they can't wheedle out of performing the repairs. I also agree with you, that although they still make a terrific product, it definitely is not the same build quality as my earlier Corollas.
