I use it at 2 oz per 10 gallons (which is below what the recommend) in my corolla in the gas. I used to use TC-W3, but did not need any mileage benefit like I did with the MMO. I found walmart to have the cheapest prices on the MMO. I do not add anything to my oil.

I've used MMO in my crank and in the gas tank. In the crank I see a bit extra pep(not as viscous so engine has to work slightly less to overcome friction and fluid weight), in the gas tank I see a bit extra mileage (probably due to larger volume of liquid more so than actual increase in mileage due to chemical compounds).

I like to use it in the crank after I've used an engine flush(I prefer the Gunk&tm; brand of engine flush). I usually use it 1:4 with regular 5w-30. Only bad thing I've noticed is it seems to...disappear after about 600 miles (not completely, but oil level drops enough that it's noticeable and seems to happen consistently more when I use MMO). Regardless, it's not really expensive and it won't hurt your car (keep an eye on oil levels) so I'd suggest just trying it if you're interested.

MMO really doesn't belong in the crankcase in todays modern engines using todays modern oils.
If you are keeping to the reccomended OCI then there should be nothing to clean out anyway.
All you are doing is thinning your oil way down to a lower viscosity which would give you a slightly easier
revving engine but less protection at the same time. Stick to your owners manual reccomendations
folks. A case might be made for using it in the fuel tank. I prefer to just use 87 octane gas and throw in
a bottle of injector cleaner at each oil change. no problems here using this method. My engines last nearly
forever without the use of special unproven additives. Yours can too!

well the escape didnt see any milage improvements it got 20mpg as always. My corolla on the other hand took 5.204 gals to go 197.8 miles. I was running 87 octane with 4oz mmo last two tanks. was using 89 octane with 10% ethanol..
