Dimmer control stopped working
I have a 2005 Corolla and had a set of components installed yesterday, along with an amp in the trunk. The dimmer control (to dim the gauges, nighttime lights, etc) no longer does that, however it does still control the dome light. The lights on the center stack that normally come on with the headlights don't work either.
Normally, when the headlights go from DRL to full low beam I hear a click in the dash but there is nothing now, just the headlight icon on the dash. The DRL's and auto headlights do still work perfectly, as does everything else in the car. So far as I can tell, none of the fuses are blown.
While I would normally march back and tell them to fix it (it was a local shop) I'm afraid they would just make it worse.
Any ideas on what to check? Is there a relay somewhere in the dash that they might have knocked loose? Thanks for any ideas.
