2007 Toyota Oil

Hi,
I was wondering what kind of oil is recommended for my 2007 Corolla Ce. Just bought it used two weeks ago, but didn't have the original owners manual in it, so I'm wondering what kind I should get. Thanks.

Yes just follow the factorys recommended weight which is 5W-30. Conventional or synthetic is totally up to you. Toyotas recommended oil change interval is every 5000 miles. Although if you are gonna use conventional I would change it every 3000 miles. For me I always use Mobil 1 synthetic on all my vehicle and change it every 5000 miles.

5W 20 also works in your engine for that year. Conventional Pennzoil works very well with these engines.

Yeah, 5W-20 is the current specification on these, though 5W-30 is also very good. 5,000 miles is absolutely safe with conventional oil. Numerous laboratory tests have demonstrated this.

I'm typically partial to Pennzoil products, though I currently have a stash of another 16 quarts of Havoline Deposit Shield in 5W-30 for mine.
