Your wiring harness looks similar to what I got in my kit. I appears to be pretty generic and not really intended for any one use in particular. I took all the wire looming off my harness, unplugged stuff, and started from scratch. You'll probably have to use some additional lengths of wire, but it might be the only way to get it particular for this application.
Those wires marked #2 and #3 in your photo may be power and ground for your switch. But you'd need at least three wires for the switch, one for power, one for ground, and one to send current forward into the engine compartment. See, when the switch is not engaged, no current goes forward, and you just have current going to ground, for the little light in the switch. But when you engage the switch, it connects the terminals inside so that the 12V that the switch gets powered with gets fed forward through your wire through the firewall grommet.
That's another thing -- with the harness as they ship it, you'd have to feed all that wiring through the firewall, when all you really need is just one little wire, that goes straight to the relay.
Really, I'd just start over, print out the little schematic that I posted when I did mine, and go fresh.
