I recently purchased (3) 09 Corolla steel rims from a member here. The were for a friend to use as spares on his Drive from Virginia to Alaska....
Well he made it there and back, without having a flat, so he didn't need to use them....good thing, because the Rims I was sold him did not fit his 05 Corolla.
The center bore on the wheels I bought are too small for his car?? Did toyota change the center bore on the 09's...or did I get ripped off, and sold rims that were not corolla rims.
Help yourself. If it's that important to know, drive to a Toyota dealer and measure one on the lot. I'm sure the dealership wouldn't mind at all.
Yeah, a dealer wouldn't mind, me jacking up a new car remove the rim, measure the center bore...or better yet pop the trunk and measure the spare!
Yes it is important, and I thought that someone here in the Corolla section may know, and would help a fellow TN'er.
I bought the rims with the impression that they were corolla rims, but it seems their not, or Toyota changed the center bore on the 09's...I'd like to know before changing the trader rating I gave the dude!
My friend could have been stranded in the middle of no where if he'd had a flat! He depended on me, and I let the dude down!
