I have a 2003 Corolla that was rattling when the engine was cold. I replaced the tensioner pulley about 10k miles ago. Problem solved. Rattling was gone. I believe I used a denso brand and even replaced the belt. Again, I only replaced the pulley. Now the rattling is back.

I've heard somewhere here that Toyota redesigned the tensioner all together? Should I purchase a newer tensioner from the dealer say maybe for an 07 Corolla and install that instead of just replacing the pulley again? This thing rattles like sob when it's cold and backing out of the drive way. Any input would be appreciated.
