Is this a good deal / Vin #?

On craigslist right now I see a 2007 Corolla S, with 34K miles. It's white, and its an auto trans, looks to be in excellent condition. Seller is asking $8500 which I think is pretty good. They say its a clean title, but the price leads me to believe that maybe it is not?

So I went to carfax and they only offer a 1 month deal for like $40 or a single lookup for $20. Any other companies out there that offer a cheaper lookup service. I wouldn't mind paying $40 for a year or something.

Or does any one know of any Carfax coupon codes / discounts? Thanks!

$8,500 is definitely too low for an '07. Look very closely at that car. And by all means, use some sort of a VIN look-up service to verify prior records.
