Place the foam sleeve over the mug.
Oh! Mud guards? When I pulled mine off (ugly looking things. No idea why you want them on there, but to each their own), they were screwed in with 1/2" screws with a #2 phillips head. The front ones could be attached/removed simply by turning the front wheels and using the space to work with a screwdriver. for the rear ones, I think it would take removing the rear wheels to do it easily. You could try what I did to remove them (f course I did this backwards, loosening screws by hand would lacerate my hands beyond recognition): hold them in place and start the screw with your hands, then when the going gets tough, carefully tighten them with a set of side cuts. Carefully being the operative word, snce they like to slip, and you'll inevitably smash your hands on things.
