Problems with rust

Hi!

Have you got any problems with rust in your Corolla's? Toyota gave only 5 years warranty for a corrosion/rust (in Europe 10 or 12 years!).

Best Regards,

I really haven't noticed any rust on my 05. If your really worried i would recommend getting the car sprayed. Or if its just a small area as mentioned above just clean it up with some steel wool and use some spray paint if you don't want it to spread.

Most of mine is rock chips-
I am going to clean it up and seal it with a small amount of por15 which I have for my older car

This cheap metal will rust in a second if it's exposed. I've got rock chips all over my '97 Dakota, too, but it doesn't really rust. There are deep marks in the bed, down to virgin metal, and they've been like that for years.

There's a big difference in metal quality between my Corolla and my Mopars.

I'm not that impressed with the paint job on my Corolla. It's not bad, but I'm guessing I have at most a few more years of Midwest winters before the car starts to look really bad.
