Performance upgrade questions

Looking to do intake, header, exhaust combo on an 05 rolla.

My main questions is what is the potential gain in horsepower might be form the intake, header, catback system. I am more interested in the exhaust note and the mpg. I don't want to sound like a 16 yr old going down the block with a coffee can on the back, just something better than what I have now.

just curious what proposed hp upgrade would be

Sorry, but that's what it'll sound like. You might see 10-15 horsepower, but only at RPM levels above 4000 RPM or so. So you'll have to sound like a 16 yr old going down the block with a coffee can on the back just to get those horsepower gains. You will likely see a loss in power/torque down at the low end, like below 2500 RPM.

You should not see any MPG change with the new parts. The best way to increase MPG is to drive conservatively and keep your tires inflated to at least what Toyota recommends (30 PSI).

10 hp tops, not worth it IMO.

This thread has been covered numerous times in great detail before.

Please perform a search and you'll find the answers to all your questions, thanks.
