2005 xrs headlights not working

Hey guys, anyone had any problems with their headlights not turning on? I hadn't driven my car in a few days and now when I turn the headlights on, nothing happens. The parking lights and high beams work, the regular driving lights do not. I haven't checked any fuses or bulbs but I just find it weird that both would stop working at the same time. Anyone had this problem before?

i have a similar issue except my passenger side don't work. any advice would be greatly appreciated
