Lifetime of Car

Would like to know what do you all expect to be the life span of this Car.

I have a 2005 Toyota Corolla S.

Bought it new. I average 10-12000 km a year on it.

I use a Rust Prevention treatment on it once a year.

Oil change and do regular service at proper times.

I drive it nicely and do not hammer on the gas or drive it rough.

How long do you think my car will last.

Thinking of debating between to keeping this one for 15 to 20 years or buy a new one now.

What do you all think.

Give it some long highway drives also. It will last so long you will get bored of it.

I wouldn't buy a new one, afraid that your current one will fail anytime soon. 15-20 years is easily doable with most any modern vehicle with good maintenance.

Honestly, only time will tell how well it holds up.

Rust or a deer strike or a crash will probably do it in before something major fails.

even in the rust friendly climate of the ocean that toyota was still running... not to mention it was set fire
