About 16 pounds is what I've seen for the 15" Corolla alloy wheels.

I know the weight of the stock steel wheels: they are 20.5 pounds.

Jason, that's the weight of a stelie only? How about with a 185/65/15?

I didn't realize they were that heavy, wow.

The steel wheel, with the hubcap weighs 20.5 pounds, without a tire. Add the weight of your tire to that to get the whole figure. You can see tire weights on www.tirerack.com. Just look your tire up and click on the link for Specs.

Yeah, it's heavy. I noticed a huge difference in ride and handling (for the better) when I put the Prius wheels on (with the same tires). Those only weigh 14 pounds each. My tires weigh in at 21 pounds each. So I went from 41.5 pounds at each corner to 35 pounds at each corner. That's a reduction of about 15%.

Doesn't mean that they will perform better than some performance oriented wheels. The stiffness of the wheel will play the biggest part in how well the car handles. I've seen 15" wheels that come in at under 10lbs per wheel. Integrity's are light, but they are still all-season passenger tires. Those offer almost no grip at all. The setup you described will only be good for fuel economy while maintaining a comfortable ride.

The Goodyear Integrity is actually 17 pounds for the 185/65R15 size, and 18 pounds in the 195/65R15 size...which is still 5-10% lighter than some tires in those same sizes.
