Found rust on my 07

I found some rust on my door edges today the size of 1/4" drill bit. It was just surface rust that I sanded out with 1500 grit sandpaper then used some touch up paint. Glad I caught it now and not when salt will be on the road. I also had to take my hub caps off because I could not stand the tap tap tap going down the road, all is quiet now.

Probably just a rock chip. This Japanese metal will rust in a second if you don't paint it. The steel on my Dodge Dakota (1997 model) can stay exposed for years without rusting (ask how I know!).
