Plastic +terminal cover

Hey guys. Want to change the battery out on my Corolla. This probably sounds stupid, but how do you get the red cover off? Any other car I've had it just flips. I tried it, but didn't want to force it. Could someone give me some advice. Thanks.

I think he's talking about the red plastic cover over the positive battery terminal. It just flips off. I think it actually snaps onto itself. Just pry it up...it'll come off. If it breaks off, it's not a huge deal; most cars don't have those terminal covers anyway.

This has to be a put on. If you really dont know how to take that off I suggest you close the hood and bring it to the dealership. You are going to hurt yourself.
