07 Corolla LE intake recomendation?

Looking for a RECENT recommendation on CAI and ram intakes for an 07 Corolla LE model, manual tranny for the girlfriend for Xmas. Currently use an Injen RAM on my 08 Nissan Altima 3.5L (they don't make any CAI's *yet*) and know the differences between CAI and RAMs :-)

Did a search on the forums, and didn't see much on new posts on the topic within the past few months OR a thread on what equipment is available for the Corollas. Never heard of Cosmo, see there is a weapon R, K&N, Injen, etc.

Also I wasn't sure how far down the CAI's go on the Corollas to source their cold air.

I have an Injen CAI and I love it. cost me $200-ish, i cant remember exactly since it was like 3 years ago. the only recommendation I can give is to NOT get the cosmo, I've heard of so many people having MAF problems due to them that i just don't think that they're worth the headache. as for how far down they go, I can't vouch for the other brands, but my Injen stops just behind the driver side fog light housing. I have heard from some people, though, that the way the filter sits can get in the way of your fog lights (if yours even has them, mine doesn't, so no problems). also, as far as I know, the Weapon-R one is alright too, not sure if they have a cai or just a ram, i haven't done the research. Good luck with your choice, I know she'll be happy with it, who wouldn't be?! haha. the roar of an intake can be so exhilarating!

thank you all for the followup!

probably going to stick with a RAM since this will be her first aftermarket intake and definitely don't need the issues of a bad MAF with a Cosomo. this is her 2nd corolla, and she sometimes gets jealous over my intake and her friend's civic SI sounds on rev.

sorry to bug again, but will the S parts work on the LE? I know the SXRT stuff won't work (different engine type). I am assume so from your statements.
