Oem Stereo with Aux possibility

Hey everyone, i don't own a corolla, but my girlfriend does. She has a 2007 Corolla S with a built in 6 cd changer. I was looking around on club lexus and stumbled upon this person who spliced the 3.5mm aux to stereo harness. Link provided below. I was wondering where to find a wiring diagram of her stereo so i can attempt to do the same thing. in the following page of the one provided he updated his setup with a 4pdt switch which i will probably do as well. i haven't seen the back of the stereo/unit just yet. Pictures of the back of the unit or any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

if you look at the rest of the thread though they've managed to use relays as well. but i'm just looking for the more simple route instead of going through relays.

The cheapest and simplest solution is to find the A56821 model on ebay. It has a tape deck and thus you can use a cassette adapter to hook up AUX.

There are also a couple DIYs online if you are up for the challenge.

There are adapter units that plug into the back of the factory radio 12 pin connector (if your radio has one). These adapters supposedly do not interfere with the function of the radio or single or six disk changer. There may be other adapter out there but these are the one's I've seen others use in their Toyotas.

PIE Toy 03 Aux

USA Spec has one for the iPod, they used to have one with RCA connectors as well.

Another workaround if you don't want to run wires or pull apart a dash is to use an FM transmitter, its clunky but works. I've seen people use the Macally PodFM Transmitter,
Amazon Amazon
, with a GPS unit to get audio through their Corolla's speakers.

Also check Chrutchfield, http://www.crutchfield.com/m_770/iPo...ers.html?tp=15, as they may have additional auxiliary adapters that may fit the Corolla.

I have an Aux2Car adapter on my stock '05. Plugs into the CD changer port on the back of my 6-disc in dash JBL stock radio. Works great. I wouldn't waste my time going any other route.

I'd recommend NOT going the FM transmitter way, I have one and am not at all happy with how it sounds. I'll check some of those other sources you listed.
