Toyota Its Time To Recall the 2006!

http://www.latimes.com/business/la-f...tory?track=rss

My efforts have paid off...2006 owners be sure to storm the NTSB with complaints. And add the belt tensioner to the list! I lived with a squeeling pig for the very first 50,000 miles new-50,000 do you hear me now??? I never owned a Toyota with multiple major issues. Ya my computer died but with the hard shift issue. Sucks for those who stall...big time. I have been at toyota for 2 yrs and I am sure many of you have. Cheers all...

The Department Of Transportation Vehichle Safety Hotline is fielding consumer complaints about ECM failure. Please mention your belt tensioner also if you have that issue. Fact is people, If your computer has not yet failed and you go beyond 80,000 miles you will be on your own to pay over $700.00. If the recall comes it will be replaced before the failure. The telephone number for the hotline is 1-888-327-4236-If your car stalled or rough shift issue and it was serious to possibly cause accident/injury please do call!
