I need to remove the starter out of my 2005 Corolla. Need help if you know how to do. Should be relatively easy no?

It's two bolts and two wire connections. Be sure to remove the negative battery cable first!

From alldata, hope this helps.

REPLACEMENT

  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
  2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
  3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
  4. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the starter connector.
  2. Open the terminal cover.
  3. Remove the nut, then remove the starter wire.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, then remove the starter.
    1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the starter assembly with the 2 bolts. Torque: 37 N.m (378 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf)

  1. Install the starter wire with the nut. Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)
  2. Put the terminal cover.
  3. Connect the starter connector.
    1. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
    2. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
    3. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)

Took out starter, got new one, reinstalled...
