Cabin Air Filter

Hi,

I have a 2005 Toyota Corolla LE. I've located where the cabin air filter but I do not know what direction the air flow is. Is it from Top to Bottom or is it Bottom going Top?

I bought an CAF and on its side it shows "AIR FLOW" and an arrow POINTING DOWNWARD. Should I flip it if the air flow would be bottom to top?

Cant find any answers regarding this. I appreciate your help

Airflow is from top to bottom, but the arrow points up.

Just clarify that the arrow and airflow are in opposite directions...not the most intuitive thing.

easy to tell, when you see the dirt, that means is where the air come from.

i verified it by removing the CAF then holding a piece of paper inside the housing and tried turning on the fan. it then sucks the paper down. This means the air flow is from TOP to BOTTOM. And also dirt was accumulated on top so that makes sense .

Rockauto indeed has the cabin air filter for #11. Shipping to Penna. is almost $10...
better to pay a little more than $11 here.

I just went to rockauto and put in 10 wix filters, 10 wix oil filters and 2 powersteering pumps. the total shipping was $7.92.......I live in Boston , ma . I would be curious what other people are getting for shipping costs. the idea is to buy a few things you need then the shipping cost becomes insignificant.
*shiiping for 1 filter was $6.04

I got 4 each for Corolla and Tacoma for about $35 shipped and they were much closer to the original than the NAPA ones I bought for $20 or so each. They shipped quick.

Guess if I work up a more complete order to include air and cabin filters
plus a few oil filters, the total cost will be a lot friendlier.
