It's in the gas tank. It's not an item you are supposed to service.

you replace it with the fuel pump assembly as a whole if your fuel pump breaks down.

Technically there is a filter but it mounts to the bottom of the fuel pump and it doesn't need to be replaced as maintenance.

I suppose if it would make you feel better you can remove the fuel pump and replace it but if you're not having any problems with the car then there's no need to bother with it.

If you ever replace the pump assembly it should come with a new filter already installed.
