USA Price for a O2 sensor

Can someone (even guess) explain why the O2 sensors for Corollas are so expensive? I see that they are about a hundred dollars for genuine parts. If that's not true, where are some online parts suppliers that sell factory parts?

I need the one upstream from the Cat.

Thanks in advance

What year are you? The front O2 sensor has different functions on the 9th gen depending on the year and will cost over $100. Stick with NGK or Denso.

www.1sttoyotaparts.com has the cheapest OEM parts online.

Hello,

2004 Corolla S.

Bosch unacceptable? I haven't found (so far) a supplier for NGK but did find a source for a Denso - $92

Thanks again for the link but they are not the cheapest online

Found it for $93 from Auto Parts People but looking around you may find it even cheaper.

I've had bad luck with Bosch 02 sensors on my 4Runner as the sensor is shorter than oem and would not stick in the exhaust far enough and was giving me a false reading and unable to pass emissions. I went with a Denso sensor and passed the emission test.

The illustration from the link looks a little weird, but thanks for the perspective on Bosch - more important

Nice find, although I would call and find out the manufacturer of the sensor to make sure it is NGK or Denso or not something stupid like a universal plug that may or may not have to be spliced. Shipping is slightly more that 1sttoyotaparts, but it is still cheaper overall.
