Funny noise after drum brake work
Hey all,
First post and look for suggestions/help. A few weeks ago, I changed out the brake shoes and all the springs on the rear wheels of my 2004 Corolla (plus one of the wheel cylinders I nicked with a spring!). The e-brake/pedal are nice and tight.
However, the passenger side (not the one with the new cylinder) is making some odd noise. It doesn't happen right when starting to drive but it seems to appear after the brakes warm up. It sounds like something is out of place (a light scraping noise) that matches the rotation of the wheel (slows when the car slows). It's only there when applying the brakes. I've taken the drum off twice to see if anything had slipped out of place but it all looks fine.
Any suggestions?!?!
