07 Automatic Trans Shift

My 07 CE with 50k seems to shift slowly into 2nd gear. Around 10-12 MPHs, the shift from 1st to 2nd starts,, but it seems to drag. The other gears seem to just quickly shift. What is your experience with a 9th Gen AT?

Make sure its not the malfunctioning ECM. That happened to my corolla around 88k miles. You need to get that replaced before 80k so its covered under warranty.

I agree with micmonty. A fairly common issue with the 9th gen, a flakey ecm causing the trans to act weird.
