Throttle response with WeaponR Secret Weapon intake

I have the Secret Weapon intake on my 05 CE and am having some weird throttle issues. I am hoping someone can help0 me out with some ideas.

During normal driving it is fine, but when at full throttle it seems to bog down and actually loose power. But, if you ease off the throttle from wide open to say 80%, the power seems to surge in and the car pulls hard. If you try to push it back to the floor it starts to bog again. What causes this? Clogged fuel filter? Or am I doomed to expensive dyno tuning to get my A/F mix ratio correct?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! My car is an 05 Corolla CE automatic with the 1ZZ-FE engine.

Thanks to all!

I have already reset the computer hoping it would remap on its own, but no apparent change.

It is new, never been cleaned. Right now it is the SRAM version, although I do have the cold air extension pipe for it. I guess I will install the cold air pipe today to see if it does any good?

Is it with a Dragon filter or SW air filter.........is MAF installed correctly.....adding the ram kit won't resolve the issue.....it would only help make it a CAI.
