all i can think of right now is that there is probably a loose wire...

well hey you're on your way to becoming familiar with cars cuz you're exerting effort on fixing it yourself ..thats good!

but yeah..definitely check for loose wire on your alarm system..cuz as you said it does it "while driving" which tells me that the wire probably rocks back and forth and makes contact to whatever..

I'm Wondering ... did ya figure it out? ;-)

My daughter has a scion xA and it the alarm is intermittanely sounding while she is driving .... from reading other threads it seems the alarm switch on the hood latch is commonly the issue.
