I have been experiencing some problems with my Corolla Altis where the rpm is jumping from 1500 to a little over 2000 when the car is on park or neutral. When on drive, the car is racing off. I was told that my transmission is malfunctioning and I may have to change. Would a Toyota Levin engine and transmission fit easily in my car? Also, what other engine and transmission may work?
