shifter thread

Does anyone know what the thread for a 2006 corolla shifter is. I want to get a new knob. I think it is 12mm x 1.25 but not sure. Also does anyone know what the stock knob weighs?

Pretty sure it is 12mm x 1.25 - as many Toyotas and other makes use that particular size and thread pitch (8th gen, 9th gen, Matrix/Vibe are all the same threading).

I believe the shift knobs between the Corolla and Matrix are the same - didn't toss it on a sensitive scale - but if I had to guess, maybe around 200grams (between 1/3 to 1/2 pound).

yea i found the thread size with a razo shift knob instructions. Im looking to go a little heavier like 300g or maybe 400g but i have heard that if the knob is to heavy it could mess up your gears over time. The stock knob is boring so i want something else with out spending to much cash. plus i think the heavier knob will make shifting more smooth. Is 400g to much for this gear box? and would the 300g even make a difference?

The Razo RA121 seems good.
